About this project
This was my debut 4-track EP released on the 18th February 2015 at The Troubadour in Earls Court. It was digitally distributed across Google Play, iTunes, Amazon Music and Spotify as well as physically released on CD.
I also played a cover version of 'I'll See You In My Dreams' live at the launch night with 1M+ subscriber, YouTube creator 'The Ukulele Teacher'. The video now has 32K views.

What I did
The main EP artwork was produced by Karolis Strautniekas however I was responsible for how the artwork was used across all other media. I designed the all the posters, banners, flyers, t-shirts, stickers, CD and CD sleeve layout and other promotional material (Photoshop, Illustrator). I created all the artwork associated with the 'True Romance' single (tarot card design, scrabble design, dice design).
I was responsible for designing and building the bespoke webpages for 'Slam The Brakes On' (HTML, CSS, PHP) as part of the marketing and promotion of the EP. This included a page integrated into the albertman.com website and a bespoke 'electronic press kit' which was used to send to reviewers and radio stations as a preview prior to launch. All webpages have a fully responsive design.
I created the official music video for the song 'True Romance' which included coming up with the concept, the filming, editing and all animation work. I used stop motion animation techniques alongside live video and had elements from the 'True Romance' artwork appear in the video. I also edited together a preview video from the launch night and a video of a live performance from the night featuring YouTube creator 'The Ukulele Teacher'. There is a video sampler of the EP which I created to promote the release which uses YouTube annotations to navigate through the video and link off to where you can purchase a copy. All of these videos can be viewed in the embedded YouTube playlist.
