About this project

'Say Something Loving' is a song I wrote and released on 2nd February 2018, digitally distributed across Google Play, iTunes, Amazon Music and Spotify. The single was recorded, produced and mixed at Jake Gosling’s Sticky Studios in Surrey by Grammy-nominated producer Adam Coltman. The launch show took place at 1901 Arts Club in London on the 7th February 2018.

What I did

I was responsible for designing and building the bespoke webpages for 'Say Something Loving' (HTML, CSS, PHP) as part of the marketing and promotion of the single. This included a page integrated into the albertman.com website and a bespoke 'electronic press kit' which was used to send to reviewers and radio stations as a preview prior to launch. I also wrote a press release surrounding the single launch for use in this press kit. All webpages have a fully responsive design.

I designed the artwork for the single as well as all the posters, banners, flyers and other promotional material for use online and for print as part of the marketing campaign for the single launch and for use at the launch night at 1901 Arts Club (Photoshop, Illustrator).

I also created the official music video from a selection of short clips created by an illustrator which I then edited to work with the song, creating my own animated sequences and transitions. I created and edited two other promotional video for use on social media as part of a marketing campaign to promote the single release and the single launch night. All of these videos can be viewed in the embedded YouTube playlist.
