
During my 4 years at the BBC, I was involved in client-side coding and web-based technologies across all of the major BBC radio networks. I worked in a large team alongside software engineers, designers and project managers and was also responsible for the information architecture of the BBC radio and music websites working closely with the design team.
Client-side and server-side technologies I had to work with included HTML, CSS, Javascript, XSSI, XML and XSL and Ruby on Rails. I also had to work with an internal CMS and used Subversion for version control. I also had an active role mentoring and training new hires on the team.
